I am a 16 year old teenage Vlogger, uploading weekly Vlogs in South Africa, and have already started taking on bigger projects armed with only an iPhone SE.After being accepted into a school excursion to Germany, I decided that this was the perfect time to start my Youtube channel, “Captain GreenFace,” by Vlogging my daily life. Armed with only an iPhone SE, I Vlog weekly.Things have turned out to be far greater than expected, resulting in a few job offers. After taking on a few of the bigger jobs, I realised that it doesn’t have to end there. I have a potential future career here, which would ultimately assist me in reaching my dream job of becoming a movie director.It just goes to show, that having the best equipment is not necessary in order to go places. Whatever I have got, I will use it to the max!

BMX- Promo
A family friend of ours has always been a passionate cyclist. He introduced his two boys to BMX. Turns out they were pretty good at it, so good they off to the SA champs. Dodge, my Dad’s friend since school days, asked me to make a promo video, to draw more attention to the sport to get more riders of all ages and genders. I grabbed my iPhone SE and headed out to all the tracks in KZN. My little sister helped out with the occasional clip and my Dad drove me to all the events.
After weeks of filming and hours of footage, I sat down and smashed this video together.
Dodge requested for the song “Sail” by AWOLNATION to be used. At first I did not like this song at all, and wondered how I was going to make this work. Red–eyed from the edit, I found myself starting to love the song and wanting to buy a bike!!
